ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of PMLN Ayaz Sadiq has said there will be negotiations with the PTI only after consulting the PDM parties.

Talking in a TV program, he said “political parties sit for negotiations when there is a reason and an agenda. So far we have only one agenda put forward before us, that is to hold elections first.”
Ayaz Sadiq said no one could impose its agenda on anyone, and merely giving statements did not solve the issues.

”When the formal request comes, all the parties will sit and decide. We will go to the election with full preparation and show victory,” he added.
In reply to a question, he said negotiations are not going on with PTI, and after Ishaq Dar’s last meeting with President Arif Alvi, there had been some talks with friends but it couldn’t be called negotiations. He however confirmed that there were definitely some contacts.

Referring to recent political statements about former Army Chief General Bajwa, Ayaz Sadiq said General Bajwa had not done PMLN any favor. He said General Bajwa had done a favor to Imran Khan, which was what Monis and Imran Khan referring to, and all the members of the assembly knew who used to make calls to PTI members.
