ISLAMABAD: The administration of the federal capital has denied permission for Imran’s helicopter to land at Parade Ground. The administration is reportedly of the view that the parade ground did not have a helipad, while pointing out the ‘sensitivity’ of the area.

However, reacting on the refusal, PTI leader Asad Umar took to the Twitter and said the administration gave no reason for refusing the landing permission.

Asad Umar claimed that the authorities failed to provide any reason for the move. “The Islamabad administration is deliberately trying to increase the threat to Imran’s life,” he added.

Earlier, The General Headquarters (GHQ) informed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that it had no objection to the landing and taking off of a helicopter, which would carry PTI chief Imran Khan from Lahore to Islamabad for the November 26 rally, at Parade Ground.
