PESHAWAR: Security forces continued their intelligence-based operation in Peshawar’s suburbs, Matni and Hassan Khel area, killing three more terrorists.
MM News has learnt that the operation was launched against a group led by outlawed TTP commander Abdur Rahim in HassanKhel Peshawar this morning. During the course of action, three terrorists were neutralized while two sustained injuries.
It was also learnt that the operation was carried out in response to an attack on military convoy few days back.

On Tuesday, it may be recalled here, ISPR had said that terrorists attacked a military convoy in general area Hassan Khel . Security personnel had initiated a prompt response, and effectively engaged and killed 3 terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the them.
As per the ISPR, the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terror activities against security forces. However, during the intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Pannah of Pak Army (age 30 years, resident of Jaffarabad District) and Sepoy Shamas Ullah of Frontier Constabulary (age 36 years, resident of South Waziristan District) had embraced Shahadat.
