ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday paid rich tributes to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and said the void created by her martyrdom would never be filled.
On his Twitter handle, the prime minister on her 69th birthday said that democracy without her was poorer.
Praying for her eternal peace, he further recollected that the former prime minister fearlessly and staunchly advocated the causes, she believed in.
I pay my rich tributes to Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto on her 69th birthday. Our democracy is poorer without her & the void left by her martyrdom will never be filled. She fearlessly & staunchly advocated the causes she believed in. May Allah rest her soul in peace

It is worth mentioning here that, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is celebrating the birth anniversary of the first female elected Prime Minister of the Islamic world, the late Benazir Bhutto today.
On her 69th birth anniversary, famous personalities paid homage to the late Benazir Bhutto. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has pledged that by adhering to the philosophy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, he would continue to struggle to eradicate poverty, hunger, and unemployment from the country as well as ensure socio-economic justice by strengthening parliament and democracy.

Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman took to Twitter and wrote, ” You live on in our hearts in ways no one else could. Our journey together is still unfinished. Your redemptive light still guides many of us on a path you trod with infinite grace and courage. May you shine on forever.
PPP leaders believe that their late chairperson Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto used to say that oppression does not know the provincial boundaries. “Wouldn’t it be better for us to use our energies in the fight against our common enemy instead of each other?”, the party’s official Twitter account posted.
