KARACHI: A court has directed the relevant authorities to conduct a post-mortem examination of deceased television personality Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who passed away on June 9 and was buried the next day.
According to details, a hearing was held in the District and Sessions Court on the petition for the postmortem of Aamir Liaquat. Barrister Raja Arsalan appeared in the case on behalf of the petitioner.
On which the public prosecutor said that the heirs do not want to have an autopsy. According to the heirs, the autopsy will hurt the soul of the father and according to the children of Liaquat, they do not have doubt about anyone.
Police said in the report that the cause of death could not be determined without an internal examination of the body. The court, after hearing the arguments, granted the request for an autopsy of Aamir Liaquat.
The court also directed the police to comply with the orders and a grave would be exhumed for the post-mortem of Aamir Liaquat. Petitioner Abdul Ahad had said that the sudden and mysterious death of Aamir Liaquat had taken place.
It should be noted that the petition said that the sudden death of Aamir Liaquat has raised suspicions among his fans. It is suspected that Liaquat was killed in a property dispute.
After hearing the arguments, the Judicial Magistrate granted the request for a post-mortem of Dr. Aamir Liaqat and directed the police to take action.
It is learned that Aamir Liaquat Hussain died suddenly on June 9, he was found dead in his house, after which he was shifted to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his death. However, Liaquat’s family did not agree to his autopsy.
