ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if this government rules, it will do more harm to the country than the enemy.

Addressing the labor wing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the former prime minister said that he wanted to send a message to the workers today.” During coronavirus, the whole world was locked down. The opposition did not care about the working class. When I asked them what would happen to the working class, I was not given a single answer,” he said.

Imran Khan said that amidst the coronavirus epidemic, the opposition said that if he did not lock down, a case should be registered. “The whole world admitted that Pakistan saved the economy during coronavirus. There was a complete lockdown in the Chinese city, I was pressured by the proposal to lock down,” Imran Khan said.

The former prime minister said that our government gave 12,000 cash to 1.5 crore families during the virus. “The government that was called incompetent, we saved our economy and the poor, is the only government in Pakistan that has built shelters for the poor workers. In the shelters, workers received food in the morning and in the evening,” he recalled.

“We did not lock down like in India. Lockdown in India increased unemployment and poverty. We did not close down the construction and textile sectors, God bless our economy that grew by 6 percent during coronavirus,” he said.

He said that we were negotiating 30 percent cheaper oil agreement with Russia. When this government increased the price by 60 rupees then India reduced the price by Rs. 25. “This government is not the people but has come to end its corruption cases,” he said.

The former prime minister said that today all these thieves have come together, everything of their leaders is abroad, that is why the US imposed them on us, they can control it. Loans without interest to build a house, my life and death is Pakistan, those who ruled for 30 years used to call each other thieves,” he maintained.

“When the institutions are destroyed then the country is destroyed. America has imposed a gang of thieves. If left untouched then democracy will end first. They are destroying the justice system of Pakistan,” Imran Khan said.

The former prime minister said that the gang of thieves has increased the price of our two-and-a-half-year period in two months. Three months ago, it was said that Imran Khan should not have increased the price of petrol and diesel. Finance Minister Miftah Ismail says inflation will rise further, not just petrol, diesel, electricity, flour, sugar, and everything else, he added.
