ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to meet the PML-N MLAs today, during which significant progress is expected on the ongoing political crisis in the country.
According to details, the PML-N members of the Punjab Assembly will meet the prime minister at 2 pm today at PM’s House.
Dissident PML-N members of Punjab Assembly Jalil Ahmed Sharqpuri, Muhammad Ghiasuddin and Chaudhry Ashraf, and Azhar Abbas will meet during which the ongoing political crisis in the country will be discussed.
Ashraf Ansari has claimed that more members of the opposition will be with us. It should be noted that deviant members are ready to make Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Chief Minister.
It may be recalled that earlier the way was paved for Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi to become Chief Minister. The members of the assembly also announced their support for Pervaiz Elahi.
The deviant PML-N members of the Punjab Assembly openly declared their support for Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and said that they were with PM Imran Khan.
