ISLAMABAD: A total of 1,263,664 people have been infected with coronavirus in Pakistan while 28,252 people have died of the virus.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 893 new cases of the coronavirus were reported across the country in the last 24 hours, while 24 more civilians died of the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 52,589 tests were performed to diagnose Corona, bringing the total number of tests to 21,51,188. Across the country, the coronavirus test result was 1.69 percent.
The condition of 2,014 coronavirus patients across the country is critical. In Punjab, 437,572 people were infected with the virus while 12,833 died. In Sindh, 465,175 corona cases and 7,525 deaths were reported.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,76,650 people were affected by a coronavirus and 5,679 died. In Balochistan, 33,114 cases and 352 deaths were reported. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,366 people were infected with corona and 186 died.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,385 people were affected by coronavirus while 740 lost their lives. In Islamabad, the virus-infected 16,402 people and killed 937. The number of active cases of the virus across the country has reached 26,974.
In the last 24 hours, 13,848 coronavirus patients across the country have succumbed to the virus, bringing the number of healthy people to 1,28,438. The death rate in the last one day was 2.2 percent.
