TOKYO: Pakistani contingent has arrived in Japan to participate in Tokyo Olympics 2021.
Ten Pakistani athletes and 12 officials will participate in the six Olympic games.
Arshad Nadeem, who is representing Pakistan in the javelin throw, will leave for Tokyo on July 21 and weightlifter Talha Talib on July 22. The Games will start on July 23.
A Pakistani contingent arrived in Japan from Islamabad to participate in the Olympics. Ten Pakistani athletes and 12 fisheries will compete in six Olympic sports, swimming, judo, weightlifting, shooting, badminton, and athletics.

Bismillah Khan and Haseeb Tariq in swimming, Shah Hussain Shah in judo, GM Bashir, Khalil Akhtar and Gulfam Joseph in shooting, Najma Parveen in athletics, and Arshad Nadeem in javelin throw will represent Pakistan. Talha Butt Shooting and Mahur Shehzad are in the national squad for badminton competitions. Arshad Nadeem will leave for Japan on July 21 and weightlifter Talha Butt will leave for Japan on July 22.
