Dilip Kumar has been admitted to ICU and his health is stable, the Indian media, citing a hospital source, reported on Wednesday. The source told Indian media “He (Dilip Kumar) was admitted yesterday during the day due to breathlessness.”
The sources added, “Given his age and recent hospitalisation, the family decided to take him to the hospital as a precautionary measure. He is fine. He is in the ICU so that the doctors can monitor him.”

Earlier this month, the star was hospitalised after a similar complaint. He was admitted to Hinduja hospital on 6th June after he complained of breathlessness, and was later discharged on 11th June. To specify the reason for his ill health, his personal handle had tweeted, “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations.”
He further wrote, “He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.”
