Waseem Khan, Manager IT at Sky Electric said, “Digitization of SMEs is extremely important in boosting the business as it integrates people, processes, and technology resulting in smoother company operations and efficient service to the customers nationwide.”

“Keeping in view the expanding and critical nature of the services we provide, a tested, reliable, and an integrated modular solution was needed for advanced support of our finances, supply chain, sales, and operations,” he added.

Waseem Khan further said implementation of SAP allowed upgrading the automation of all these critical functions and move further ahead than ever before in a very short time.

With SAP Solution, our ability to keep up these standards has further increased as it streamlines the entire business process under one platform, making things easier than they ever can be.”

“Cost-saving, big data and data analytics for decision-making are among the key features that this solution offers, making it a top choice for SMEs like ours for business efficiency,” he added.

BTW scales up e-Commerce

Pakistan’s all-inclusive popular fashion brand, By The Way (BTW) by Din Industries, has deployed the SAP Solution to streamline inventory and sales processes for its stores across the country. To meet the changing needs of the retail fashion brand, this ERP is customized to support the growing e-commerce business, increasing its order handling capacity while utilizing the same number of resources.

Irfan Muneer, Director at BTW, said “Digital is the key to sustenance for retail businesses in during Covid-19 and post-Covid-19, especially for the fashion industry.

He said, “We are seeing an exponential increase in the demand for e-commerce lately that has driven our decision to digitize and expedite our operations. While affordability is one of the main obstacles in the digitization of SMEs, it is this very aspect and scalability of SAP that has enabled us to adopt this tool without straining our resources,” Ifran added.

Ifran further said from design integration, sale, production, and finance, to warehouse and inventory management, this software has taken ease-of-doing-business to a new level.

With SMEs accounting for about 80% of its customer base, SAP understands their need to optimize and simplify IT processes.”
