SAN FRANCISCO: YouTube has celebrated the success of content creators in Pakistan on Monday.
YouTube celebrated Mubashir Saddique hailing from a remote village in Punjab, and his much-admired channel Village Food Secrets by featuring his story on YouTube through an inspiring video, released globally.
The video shares the journey of Mubashir, hailing from a village in Shahpur Punjab, worked at a football factory and would return home for the weekends and cook for his family – an activity he enjoyed so much that it turned into content for his YouTube channel, Village Food Secrets.
Regularly creating inspiring content that showcased the peaceful Pakistani rural life and sharing his cooking skills for four years, he has built up more than 2.84 million subscribers across the globe.
Mubashir Saddique, zealous about cooking food, was introduced to YouTube by his brother, who had discovered vlogging and is presently running two well-liked YouTube channels, Mudassar Saddique & Food Secrets.
Mubashir joined YouTube when there were no proper internet facilities in Shahpur in 2017, he used to record content with his mid-range smartphone and then travel to Sialkot where he would use a room at his office to edit and upload.
Village Food Secrets provides a fresher substitute for his watchers with his depiction of Pakistani’s stunning landscape along with delicious recipes rooted in township traditions.
Mubashir’s success on YouTube has benefited his village however, more highly his success has become an encouragement for all Pakistanis. People in surrounding villages are now coming to YouTube to create content, earn a living for their communities, and share their stories to YouTube’s global audiences.
YouTube continues to assist and celebrate Pakistani content inventors like Mubashir, who create innovative content on YouTube.
