ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has asserted that Prime Minister Imran Khan has been rejected by his own Members of National Assembly (MNAs) and allied parties.
“Prime Minister will have to correct his ways and stop creating a drama,” the PPP chairman said while addressing a press conference along with party leader and former premier Yousaf Raza Gillani.
He further said, “We have proven that your members don’t trust you. The House does not support you,” adding that the incompetent and selected government only brought pain and suffering for the people of Pakistan.
“Every citizen of the country celebrated the victory of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) after Gillani defeated PTI’s Abdul Hafeez Sheikh in the Senate elections,” he said.
The PPP Chairman said, “You will not be able to escape. We will not give you an NRO. And we will not spare you.” He pointed out that Imran Khan had promised to dissolve the assembly if he lost the Islamabad Senate seat but he didn’t, the premier is scared.
“You (Imran Khan) are a coward and afraid of elections,” he claimed, adding that after backtracking from the statement of dissolving the assembly, he is now creating a new drama by seeking a vote of confidence from the parliament.
Talking about the vote of confidence, Bilawal said, “I will tell you when and where the no-confidence motion will take place.” He also claimed that he knows each and every MNA who cast votes against him.
He went on to say that the Opposition will carry on its fight against the incumbent government and will continue to expose its wrongdoing, adding that no one would be able to save the PTI-led government now.
