KARACHI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza witnessed the conduct of the Maritime Counter-Terrorism demonstration as part of Naval Exercise AMAN-21.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), CJCSC lauded the professionalism of participants and appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Navy in conducting the multinational exercise in a befitting manner.
“The exercise would promote regional cooperation & stability, greater interoperability, and a united resolve against terrorism and crimes in the maritime domain,” General Nadeem Raza added.
CJCSC further said, “AMAN 2021 successfully exhibits efforts made by Pakistan in line with our vision for regional peace and stability.” He also witnessed an International Band Display by Navies from different countries. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Amjad Khan Niazi was also present on the occasion.
Separately, according to a statement issued by Pakistan Navy, Chief of the Naval Staff (CONS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said the 7th multinational AMAN 2021 naval exercise demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to peace.
Admiral Niazi visited the ships of the foreign navies participating in the naval exercise AMAN 2021. The Naval Chief interacted with senior and commanding officers and was given briefings aboard the ships.
