MoST announces program for animation and video games lovers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced to launch of a special program of animation and video games for gamers.

Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter and wrote, “If you are not interested in reading and are interested in video games, be ready, our ministry is launching a special program for video games programming.”

The minister said that through this we will be able to be a part of this industry of 90 billion, games certificates will also be given to the youth. It is to be noted that the video game industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world.

Gaming is also being chosen as a career and like YouTube, there are now many opportunities for gamers to move on. Since Fawad Chaudhry’s announcement, his move has been appreciated by Twitter users and various suggestions have also been made.

Last month, Fawad Chaudhry announced that the government of Pakistan was ready to launch a Pakistani version of the streaming website Netflix. In this regard, he had said that the Ministry of Science and Technology has completed a lot of work on the streaming website and the ministry has asked the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to prepare guidelines for airing content.
