ISLAMABAD: Survey reports have revealed that in Gilgit-Baltistan elections, people are giving preference to PTI over other political parties.
According to two surveys conducted by Gallup Pakistan and Pulse Consultant, two surveys conducted by online survey firm Gallup and Plus Consultant have revealed that the majority of people in Gilgit-Baltistan are putting the ruling party ahead of PPP, whereas, PML-N was placed at the third position.
The survey stated the PTI is first, the PPP second, and the PML-N third, while Prime Minister Imran Khan is the most popular political leader in Gilgit-Baltistan, as per the survey. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are popular among the people in the second and third places according to the results of the survey while 30 percent of the voters say that the elections will be free from rigging and transparent.
The public was asked during the Gallup poll which political party would you vote for on 15th November (election day), 27 percent of Gallup respondents said they would vote for PTI, 24 percent said PPP, and 14 percent said PML-N.
On the other hand, 35 percent of the respondents of Plus Consultant said that they would vote for PTI, 26 percent said they would vote for PPP while 14 percent said they would vote for PML-N. According to a Gallup poll, the difference between PTI and PPP is only 3 percent.
In addition, when Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Imran Khan were given the option to choose their favorite leader, 42 percent of Gallup respondents named Imran Khan, 17 percent appeared with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and only 3 percent appeared with Maryam Nawaz.

When the same question was asked by Plus Consultant, 41 percent of the people liked Imran Khan, 23 percent said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, 16 percent said Nawaz Sharif was their favorite leader and another question was asked from the people.
Respondents were asked who they would like to vote for if the national elections were held today (after giving Gilgit-Baltistan the right to vote). On which 35 percent took the name of PTI, 31 percent took the name of PPP while 14 percent took the name of PML-N.
