ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has submitted a detailed report on Nawaz Sharif’s assets to the accountability court.
The assets include the former prime minister’s name in agricultural land, vehicles, bank accounts, and shares in various companies.
NAB investigating officer Muhammad Raheel Azam submitted a report in the accountability court. NAB had approached SECP, LDA, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Lahore and Sheikhupura, Assistant Commissioner of Murree, and Galiyat Development Authority for details of the property.
According to the NAB report, Muhammad Bakhsh Textile accused owns 467,950 shares of Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif owns 343,425 shares in Hudabia Paper, 22,213 shares in Hudabia Engineering Company, and 48,606 shares in Ittefaq Textile Mills.
The former premier has three foreign currency and five other accounts in various private banks. Nawaz Sharif has Rs 612,000 in five bank accounts. The foreign currency accounts are 566 euros, 698 US dollars, and 498 pounds.

Nawaz Sharif and his children have properties in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Murree, and Abbottabad. The former prime minister also owns a 15-kanal house at Bungalow in Murree, Changla Gali Abbottabad, and Upper Mall Lahore.
Earlier on Thursday, the Islamabad Accountability Court had ordered foreclosure of the assets of the former Prime Minister in the Toshakhana reference.
In this case, Nawaz Sharif is accused of obtaining a car from Toshakhana during the previous PPP government and paying for it with a fake bank account. Nawaz Sharif was not in any post in 2008 and he had not even applied for a car from Tosha Khana.
