LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid has claimed that the opposition would neither stage a sit-in nor resign from the assemblies and they will not even move a vote of no confidence in the parliament.
While talking to the media after inaugurating the tree plantation campaign in Lahore on Friday, the minister said he was proud of being labeled the “Pakistan Army’s spokesperson,” and said he is “not an Indian agent”.
He said, “I will organize gatherings to expose the reality of the opposition in the coming days wherever the opposition would organize any rally in any city,” he added.
Rasheed said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif landed in trouble due to his own daughter. “Maryam Nawaz has ruined the career of Nawaz Sharif,” he added.
Commenting over former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s APC address, Rasheed said, “Nawaz’s APC speech was inspired by Indian businessman Sajjan Jindal, Modi or Indian spy agency RAW.
The opposition wants a fight with Prime Minister Imran Khan before Senate elections and they neither hold march nor give resignations from assemblies, he said. The minister said that Imran Khan was planting a tree to eliminate corruption from the country.
The Railways minister said that the Main-Line-1 (ML-1) would prove to be a game-changer for the country. Later, he planted a sapling and prayed for prosperity and unity of the country.
