KARACHI: Senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar has asserted that the economic policies introduced by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) have adversely affected the national economy.
“Unemployment in the country has reached its peak, and the coronavirus pandemic had further affected the already affected-economy,” he said while addressing a press conference in Karachi today (Friday).
Farooq Sattar further claimed that when Karachi sank it became the center of attention of the rulers. “Army Chief and Prime Minister Imran Khan also visited Karachi, but I don’t know if they met the real stakeholders or not,” he added.

“Karachi belongs to the people of Karachi. The city should be handed over to the youth,” he suggested, adding that he was receiving disturbing calls from industrialists, traders and businessmen of Karachi for the past three days.
“The traders are asking me to call upon Prime Minister Imran Khan for resolving the issues of Karachi,” he said, adding that the concerned authorities were not taking any action in this regard.
