NEW YORK: Billionaire businessman and philanthropist Bill Gates has said that the global coronavirus will be eradicated in 2022.
According to Gates, the epidemic will not last indefinitely. In an interview, he said he hopes life will return to normal in 2021 and that vaccine use will reduce the number of cases in the United States. Bill Gates has donated up to $6 million to the world to fight the coronavirus epidemic that will be used to make vaccines and will be delivered to the poor countries.
He added that in addition to eradicating the epidemic worldwide, it must also ensure that it does not recur. Gates said that the coronavirus vaccine is expected to be ready by the beginning of 2021. The founder of Microsoft said that the number of cases could be significantly reduced in 2021 if the same steps are taken globally.

“Once the vaccine is ready, we have to ensure its indiscriminate supply and distributing it to the rich alone will not end the epidemic,” he said. Bill Gates said vaccination rates in developing countries have dropped by 14 percent during the coronavirus. For the first time, poverty is on the rise, with detrimental effects on education and mental health.
Last month, the head of the World Health Organization also expressed hope that the coronavirus would be eradicated within two years.
