LAHORE: The arrest of the prime suspect in the motorway gang-rape incident has become a challenge for the police despite the passage of ten days.
Abid Ali also escaped by evading the police in Nankana Sahib yesterday. Yesterday, his relatives had claimed that her brother-in-law had come to visit her at 4 pm today.
The main accused’s sister-in-law Kishore Bibi claimed in her statement that Abid had come to meet her around 4 pm today. Abid asked me who are these people in the house?
Sally Kishore Bibi claimed that Abid asked her to meet him in the park. He informed his neighbor about this and he informed the police. When the police came to arrest Abid, he fled. The police also followed Abid.

She said that Abid’s appearance was bad, his clothes were torn and his shoe was broken. “We have no relationship with Abid,” she said. Abid kidnapped my sister 4 years ago and forcibly married her. My sister has four children from her first marriage.
It may be recalled that the police have also detained five relatives of Abid. CTD, CIA, and Kasur police had conducted an operation in Kasur road on the information of the presence of Abid.
