ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan o Tuesday reiterated that providing opportunities for quality education are among the foremost priority of the PTI-led federal government.
The statement came while chairing a review meeting in Islamabad on measures being taken for the promotion of Higher Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“The provision of quality education plays a key role in the development and prosperity of the nation,” the Prime Minister added. He also directed to ensure equal opportunities of higher and primary education, action on merit, and provision of facilities to teachers and students.
Meanwhile, a delegation of technology giant Huawei led by Global Senior Vice President Huawei Technology Hou Tao also called him today (Tuesday) in Islamabad.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the Information Technology sector in Pakistan holds a tremendous potential of investment, revenue generation, and economic development.
He also assured Huawei delegation of full support from the government towards the implementation of Information and Communication Technology solutions in Pakistan.
