LAHORE: Musical video ‘Ki Jana’ has been nominated for two international awards.
Directed by Nabil Qureshi, the short music video is made on the ‘honor killing’ which shows that a boy and a girl get married to their own free will. However, every attempt to escape fails and both are killed by the girl’s father.
Taking to Instagram, actor, and singer Mohsin Abbas announced about the nomination of the music video for the music category in the ‘Miami Short Film Festival’ and ‘Bucharest Film Awards’. He also congratulated the ‘Ki Jana’ music video team.
The music video features actress Sonia Hussain in the lead role while Mohsin Abbas is also part of the video. The music of this song has been composed of Shani Arshad while its lyrics are derived from the poetry of Baba Bale Shah.
