ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Karachi tomorrow and will announce a special package for Karachi with the aim to resolve the port city’s civic and infrastructure problems.
The development was confirmed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) leader and Senator Faisal Javed Khan in a tweet today (Friday).

According to the tweet, the Karachi Transformation Plan is aimed at addressing the port city’s long-pending problems like choked drainage and sewerage system, encroachments, poor waste disposal, water supply, and transport.
Meanwhile, sources have informed that the Prime Minister will reach the provincial capital at 12:30 pm and will address a press conference at the Governor House at 1:30 pm.
PM Imran will also visit Pakistan Stock Exchange and will meet Industrialists, Businessmen, and traders. He is expected to meet the leaders of the coalition parties.
The federal government is expected to unveil projects worth Rs802.39 billion under the ‘Karachi Transformation Plan’ which will be announced during the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The federal and provincial governments will collaborate on the projects for the city, which has been devastated by the recent monsoon rainfall.
