ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast thunderstorms in most parts of the country but the weather will remain dry in Sindh.
Islamabad remained overcast and more rain with thunderstorms is expected. Rain is also expected in Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
According to the PMD, hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of Sindh but rain is expected in Mirpurkhas, Thatta, Badin, Mithi, and Karachi. The weather will remain hot and dry in most cities of Balochistan but light rain is expected in Lasbela district.
More rain with thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Rain is also expected in Dir, Swat, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan, and Mardan. There will be thundershowers in Haripur, Abbottabad, and Mansehra.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in South and Central Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit- Baltistan, and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. It will rain in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sahiwal, Okara, and other cities.
It also rained in several parts of the country during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 39 mm was recorded in Kalam.
