LONDON: Famous Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson has reportedly contracted the coronavirus.
According to US media, the filming for Robert Pattinson’s starring movie ‘The Batman’ has been suspended once again following the news.
The halt in production was confirmed by the Warner Bros as it said that a member of the production team was self-isolating but it did not say who.
Filming began in Glasgow earlier this year but was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. A spokeswoman for the studios said, “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for COVID-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

The 34-years-old actor caught the virus days after shooting resumed near London, after a six-month delay to filming. The movie was initially set to release in June 2021 but it has been delayed to October 2021.
‘The Batman’ also stars Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Gotham City Commissioner James Gordon, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.
