CHAKWAL: An influential man in Chakwal is allegedly threatening to kill his family over a domestic dispute, according to man’s 16-year-old daughter.
According to details, the influential man had divorced his wife three months ago. In this regard, the 16-year-old daughter informed that her father is continuously threatening to kill them. “We are seven siblings, while my mother is from Sindh province,” she added.
The 16-year-old daughter further informed that they have filed several applications against the father in the civil judge’s court and family court. She further said that on August 12, her father broke into their house and tried to kill her and the other siblings.
Meanwhile, she said that her mother called police, however, they refused to take any action against the man. “We later filed applications to District Police Officer (DPO) Chakwal,” she added.
The family has appealed to the concerned authorities and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take notice of the matter and take strict action against the corrupt police officials.
