ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting today to discuss an 11-point agenda today.
The prime minister Imran Khan will discuss the country’s political, economic situation. The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s office in Islamabad at 12 pm. Several ministers will attend the cabinet meeting via video link.
The cabinet meeting will review the political and economic situation of the country. In the meeting, the federal cabinet will hold final consultations to bring former prime minister Nawaz Sharif back to the country while the government legal team will brief the cabinet on the options for Nawaz Sharif’s return.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will take the Cabinet in confidence on China’s visit. The federal cabinet will review the results and implications of the UAE-Israel agreement. The Cabinet will also ratify the Economic Co-ordination Committee’s August 12 decision.
PM Imran Khan had assured that the PTI-led federal government will accord the highest priority to the provision of every possible facility to the Chinese investors. He said that strengthening business to business ties among the people of Pakistan and China was the foremost priority of the government. “Pakistan and China have shared destiny,” he reiterated.
