ISLAMABAD: The management of the National Highway Authority (NHA) has unlawfully transferred employees to higher post by giving additional charges, it has been revealed.
As per details, the NHA’s administration had ignored dozens of senior employees and officers and transferred the employee to an important position and gave additional charges.
According to a notification issued by the management, the junior account assistant was given the additional charge of Director Accounts as the senior employees of the company continue to be deprived of their rights.
Relevant Sources have informed that the transfer order also includes account assistant Jahanzeb Jamal, who was transferred by the management eight months ago after spending ten years in the same section.
Sources further said that the NHA administration had issued transfer orders for 88 employees and officers a few months ago. Out of which more than 44 employees and officers are still serving the same posts and sections while the management seems to be failing to execute its own order.
The transferred employees and officers include persons of Grade 11 to 17 who have long been posted in this section.
Relevant sources informed that several influential officers and employees have intensified their efforts to hold off after the order.
Source further informed that the list does not include some influential officers who have been in the same department for fifteen years.
