ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has blamed ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari for rising inflation in the country.
In reaction to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s press conference, he said Zardaris and Sharifs have no explanation for the money they looted and plundered.
Murad Saeed said that the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stay away from the Parliament to avoid political debate in the house.
The minister said that from day one that the purpose of their politics was only to conceal their corruption. Murad Saeed said that he will not get pressurized by the current puppet government and will not allow any changes in the 18th amendment even if his whole family is arrested.
Earlier, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said that an attempt is being made to pressurize the opposition through the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
While talking to media in Islamabad, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that today again the PPP workers and leaders were prevented from going to court. The Islamabad administration also barred lawyers from going to court.
He said that the lawyers of the Supreme Court were insulted by the administration today while the lawyers of the NAB were insulting them.
Chairman PPP said that the efforts are being made to put pressure on us but we will not change our position under any pressure. “Even if my entire family is arrested, we will not allow changing the 1973 Constitution and the 18th Amendment” he added.
