ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the world is not unaware of the ongoing human rights violations against Kashmiris in Indian Occupied territory.
In a video message on Youm-e-Istehsal, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Kashmiris are facing year-long continuous curfew and military siege while the world could not tolerate four-month lockdown due to coronavirus.
Kashmiris facing Indian atrocities are not alone, adding that every Pakistani is standing with them feeling their pain, the minister maintained. “Prime Minister Imran Khan is fighting the case of Kashmiris as their ambassador,” Qureshi asserted.
He reassured all Kashmiris of Azad Kashmir and Occupied Kashmir that they are not alone and every Pakistani is standing with them feeling their pain. The Minister said that he promises with Kashmiris today that as long as their leadership is detained, he will be their ambassador and will approach the capital of every country for the rights of Kashmiris.

He said that as Foreign Minister, it is his duty to represent Kashmiris. “It is a misconception of the Occupation Force that they will demoralize the Kashmiris through repression,” he added.
He earlier warned that Indian premier Narendra Modi’s policies for neighbouring countries could escalate more tensions in the region. Qureshi said Modi-led fascist government in India is preparing to begin construction work on Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and Pakistan condemns this act.
