KARACHI: Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said Prime Minister Imran Khan had given special attention towards Kashmir and had clearly indicated that he would fight this cause at each and every international forum.
While talking to media after visiting Cantonment Railways Station to meet participants of “Kashmir Siege Day” Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir Train March in Karachi he said PM Imran as an Ambassador of Kashmir had been highlighting the issue at all international forums from day one.
The Governor lauded the enthusiasm and fervor of participants who were chanting slogans against demographic apartheid of Kashmir and Military Siege by Indian armed forces while holding flags of Kashmir.
Imran Ismail said the presence of people from every walk of life reflected the passion, love and affection of Pakistani people towards our Kashmiri brethren.
He also indicated that each and every Pakistani was against the Military Siege in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK), and recent illegal actions of the Indian Government in the IIOJK.
The entire nation was expressing solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters and freedom of Kashmir from Indian aggression and occupation was nearing, he added.
Responding to a question, Imran Ismail said the political map of Pakistan approved by the Federal Cabinet was according to the aspirations of every Pakistani.
The historic resolution called for the Accession of the State of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan in view of its existing religious, geographical, cultural and economic proximity to Pakistan and the aspirations of millions of Kashmiri Muslims.
The governor Sindh said no matter what kind and quantity of airplanes were purchased by India, we would prepare as many cups of tea. Only airplanes were not enough during the war it was the faith in Allah, which counts the most, he added. He asked why India was reluctant to allow even its own opposition leaders to visit Srinagar.
Governor Ismail said that a clear message is being sent to the Indian government that Kashmiris have rejected Indian actions of 5th August and the struggle of innocent Kashmiris for the right to self-determination will continue until they get freedom.
Despite decades of Indian occupation, the resolve of Kashmiris & immutable bonds too (Pakistan) stand strong. “We reaffirm unwavering support to Kashmiris in their just struggle for freedom,” he added.
