ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to observe Tiger Force Day on 9th August across the country.
The prime minister said that he himself will become a part of the Tiger Force and the tree planting campaigns. “Ten billion trees will be planted by 2023 in Pakistan,” the premier added.
He said that elected representatives, all Chief Ministers, and Ministers will also participate in the plantation campaign. According to PM Khan, environmental pollution is badly affecting our country.
“Pakistan is one of the ten countries that are vulnerable to global warming,” he maintained. “Climate change and pollution are affecting the health of people,” the prime minister said.

PM Imran Khan said that every citizen should participate in a plantation campaign to off-set the impact of pollution.
The prime minister earlier said, “We have made people realize that Pakistan is vulnerable to climate change,” adding that “Women in mountain communities engage in planting nurseries and his provincial government took the initiative in 2013 to include local communities in a tree-planting campaign.”
