PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar will chair a National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) meeting today in Peshawar.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan will also attend the meeting which will review coronavirus situation in the country as well as arrangements made for cattle markets.
Moreover, Asad Umar urged the nation to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with simplicity. He asked the nation to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and to avoid gatherings.

Umar also urged them not to go to parks and other places of entertainment during Eid-ul-Azha.
Umar earlier asserted a decline in coronavirus cases in Pakistan is primarily due to a nearly 60 percent reduction in the positivity of the virus.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has surged to 272,619 in Pakistan, while the death toll stands at 5,842. As per reports released by the Balochistan Health Department, 23 more people have been diagnosed with the virus in Balochistan.
