KARACHI: A woman has been selling sacrificial cows in the cattle market for Eid-ul-Azha 2020.
The cattle market along the Super Highway, a woman named Ayesha Ghani is selling her all 24 cows at a stall. From checking their teeth to cleaning them, she does everything herself for her animals.

She had brought 36 cows and has sold 12 so far. Reportedly, the animals were raised at a village and Ghani then brought to the market. Apart from selling the cows, Ghani is also a gym instructor and sometimes teaches people to ride bicycles too.

In an interview to a private news channel, Ghani said, “I have been an animal lover since childhood and this year, I thought I will change things around for the women and children who usually feel uncomfortable and scared while visiting the cattle market.” The most expensive cow at her stall costs over Rs530,000 and has yet to be sold.
Two weeks from now, the nation will celebrate Eid al-Adha, a different Muslim holiday of sacrifice, it draws millions to crowded livestock fairs, shopping bazaars, mosques, family gatherings, and ritual animal slaughtering.
