ISLAMABAD: The weather has turned pleasant after rain in different parts of Karachi.
As per details, the downpour was reported in Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, PECHS Society, Khudadad Colony, Shahra-e-Faisal, Bhittabad, Safooran Goth, Sachal Goth, North Nazimabad, Baldia Town, Gulshan-e-Ghazi and other parts of the city.
According to the Pakistan meteorological department (PMD), Islamabad, Upper and Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir are also likely to receive rain today, while Sukkur, Larkana and Jacobabad districts of Sindh are likely to receive rain with dust storms. Light rain with a thunderstorm is also possible in the coastal belt of Sindh province including Karachi.

Dust storms and rains are expected in different districts of Balochistan including Zhob, Sibi, Kohlu Barkhan, Loralai, Musa Khel, and other areas. Gilgit-Baltistan is also expected to receive strong winds and thundershowers.
It rained with thunder and lightning and drizzle in different parts of Karachi reduced the intensity of heat. Sukkur and its suburbs also received heavy rains with thunder and lightning.
