RAWALPINDI: A woman was injured after Indian troops once again resorted to unprovoked firing in Rakhchikri Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday.
DG ISPR took to Twitter and said, “IndianArmy troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation (CFV) in Rakhchikri Sector along the Line of Control targeting civil population.”
Inter-Services Public Relations said, “An elderly woman, resident of Kirni village got injured. Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian firing.”

The military’s media wing further said that as many as 1643 ceasefire violations (CFVs) have been committed by India in 2020 so far.
Earlier on July 06, five civilians got injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nikial Sector.
Earlier today (Sunday), four soldiers embraced martyrdom while four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Vezhda Sar of North Waziristan District.
The military’s media wing informed that the Pakistan army conducted an operation against terrorists’ hideout in Vezhda Sar. “As soon as the troops cordoned off the area, terrorists opened fire. All dug out terrorists were shot down by security forces,” ISPR added.
