BELGRADE: The participation of ace tennis player Novak Djokovic in the US Open grand slam is yet to be finalized.
According to details, the decision of Djokovic is prompted due to the restrictions over the tournament in wake of coronavirus pandemic.
After weeks of speculation and doubts, it was finally confirmed that the grand slam tournament would be played in 2020. However, there are many restrictions at the event due to COVID-19.
These restrictions along with the rising number of cases in the United States have resulted in players unsure about participation. Among many other players, Novak Djokovic is also the one who is thinking about skipping the event.

He felt that there are extreme limitations and that it would not be very difficult to play with them. “I still don’t know if I will play at the US Open. I certainly do not play Washington, Cincinnati in the plan. Participation in Garros is safe for now, and Madrid and Rome are also planned,” he said while giving an interview to a tabloid.
