ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the brutalization of Kashmiris by the Indian occupation forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Addressing a weekly news briefing today (Thursday), Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui has said that images of Indian atrocities were flashed around the globe. “The images have depicted the level of brutalization and inhumanity meted out by Indian troops,” she added.
The foreign office spokesperson said that the disturbing picture of a 3-year-old boy would forever remain seared in the imagination of all those who believe in humanity. “Indian cannot divert the attention from the truth by spreading fake news and turning its propaganda machinery faster,” she added.
Commenting on the ceasefire violations, Aisha Farooqui said that Indian troops have continued ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC). “Almost 1546 ceasefire violations in the first 6 months of the current year have occurred, resulting in 14 deaths and 114 critical injuries of civilians,” she informed.
Referring to illegal domiciles, she said that Pakistan also rejected the grant of domicile certificates in IoK by the Indian authorities to reportedly 25,000 Indian nationals. “Kashmiris have also rejected the bogus domicile certificates,” FO said.
The FO Spokesperson further said that Pakistan has already urged the international community to raise voice against the Indian atrocities in IoK. She also said that Pakistan has shared incriminating evidence about the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW’s involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
