RAWALPINDI: A woman was injured after Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) along the Line of Control, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a tweet, the military’s media wing said, “Indian troops started unprovoked ceasefire violation in Karela sector along the LoC targeting the civilian population.”

“Due to indiscriminate fire of Indian troops, an innocent woman sustained serious injuries. The woman has been shifted to the hospital,” ISPR said. “Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to Indian posts which initiated fire,” it added.
Earlier on June 21, The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a Twitter statement informed that a 13-year-old girl had been martyred while her mother and a 12-year-old boy got injured when Indian army troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC).
In a Twitter statement, ISPR said: “Indian Army troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Hajipir & Bedori Sectors along LoC last night targeting civil population.”
Earlier on June 3, ISPR Director General ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar expressed grave concerns over unproved ceasefire violations by Indian troops along the Line of Control (LoC).
DG ISPR Babar Iftikhar had warned that there will be ‘uncontrollable and unintended consequences’ of any military adventurism.
