ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Allama Talib Jauhri.
In his condolence message, the prime minister also commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
President Dr Arif Alvi phoned Asad Jauhri, son of the eminent religious scholar, and expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of his father.
The president prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss. He also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
The president said that Allama Jauhri’s religious services and his contributions towards interfaith harmony would be remembered for long.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz also expressed deep grief and sorrow over his sad demise.
In a tweet, the minister said his services for religion would be remembered for a long time. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
