KARACHI: Music Icon Adil Omar has shared letters which his late father who was then imprisoned had sent from jail.
In a tweet, the musician in a post shared letters of his father and wrote how his father was falsely accused when he was just 7-years old.

“These are letters he wrote from jail to my little sister and I. He was a maverick and an outlaw but a true with integrity and a big heart,” Adil Omar wrote.
In the letters written to Adil and his sister, his later father had asked both of his children about their well being and guided them to look after their mother. He had also written in the letter that he had been fighting against the bad guys (the criminals) but it is difficult as the criminals are using the police.
Adil’s father was quoted saying, “Remember to be truthful and honest no matter what anyone wants you to say. Allah gets happy with the truthful people.”
He also assured that he would come back home soon and would share all of his adventures and experiences. “Meanwhile, look after mother and be always good as at such times, it is important to be together and one.”
According to Adil, his father died three years later in 2001. He was just a 7-year old kid when his father was imprisoned over false accusations.
