ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has claimed that India might activate sleeper cells in the different parts of the country to disturb the peace.
In a statement today (Sunday), FM Qureshi said that India was under immense pressure over facing humiliating failures in Ladakh standoff with China and Pakistan would have to minutely deliberate over the current situation.
Pointing towards the firing incidents in Waziristan and areas along Line of Control (LoC), FM Qureshi said that India wanted to destroy peace in Pakistan.
The foreign minister further said that it is needed to analyse the facts behind the separate incidents of attacks on the paramilitary troops’ Rangers in Karachi and Ghotki.
FM Qureshi also said that he will contact the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Monday to discuss the current situation of the ceasefire line. “India has not only involved in destabilising peace in Pakistan but also running the same activities in Afghanistan,” he added.
Earlier today, two soldiers embraced martyrdom while two others sustained injures when suspected terrorists opened fire at the convoy of security forces in North and South Waziristan district.
ISPR said, “In exchange of fire Captain Sabih & Sepoy Naveed embraced martyrdom. Later during sanitization, a terrorist’s compound was cleared.”
