ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan has said that the authorities would not endure the violation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Talking to media, the minister said that protection of life and property of people was the prime responsibility of the government and no stone would be left unturned to fulfill the responsibility.
While appreciating the healthcare workers’ services during the coronavirus outbreak, Ali Muhammad Khan said it is also a topmost priority of the government to provide protection and safety of health care and medical staff.
He said the federal government is making efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 from the day first, adding, the government is increasing its testing capabilities to deal with the challenge of coronavirus.
The SOPs and guidelines issued with the mutual consensus of health experts must be followed strictly in order to create a balance between economic activities and controlling the spread of this pandemic, he advised.
Ali Muhammad Khan urged the nation to show the greatest unity, discipline and passion to battle the coronavirus outbreak in the country. He said this is a pandemic and no government can overcome it without active support and cooperation of the whole nation.
The minister said it is the responsibility of all people of society, including Ulema, media and political leaders to play their due role in enlightening the people about the precautionary steps against the coronavirus outbreak.
