ISLAMABAD: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur has strongly condemned continuing Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and urged the international community to take notice of the deteriorating situation in the held valley.
In a statement on Monday, Gandapur said Indian occupying forces are massacring Kashmiri youth and inflicting worst kind of brutalities on innocent Kashmiris during its home-to-home searching operation. He said that the speed of extrajudicial killings is also on the peak in the held valley.
He said 10 months had passed since eight million unarmed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir faced Indian tyranny in the name of curfew. He said the oppressed Kashmiris were braving a double lockdown after the outbreak.
Gandapur pointed out that moves to alter the demography of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by amending the domicile laws were a clear violation of the UN Security Council resolutions and international laws.
He said 10 months had passed since eight million unarmed citizens of occupied Jammu and Kashmir faced Indian tyranny in the name of curfew. The oppressed Kashmiris were braving a double lockdown after the outbreak, he added.
The minister said that Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to just struggle of innocent Kashmiris for their right to self-determination.
He said, “It is the responsibility of the world community to urgently act and protect the Kashmiris from the wanton killings and other brutalities being inflicted on them by the Indian occupation forces”.
