LAHORE: Raiwind City police today (Sunday) raided a private farmhouse in Lahore and arrested a number of young men and women involved in obscene and suspicious activities.
According to details, almost 25 girls and 31 boys were arrested from the farmhouse near Kot Lakhpat Road Lahore. Bottles of alcohol were also seized during the raid.
Police officials informed that the detained people have also violated Section 144 being in place in the division to avert the spread of novel coronavirus. The official further informed that they received a tip about the ongoing party in the farmhouse.
According to police sources, the SHO of the concerned police station is constantly receiving phone calls from various senior government officials in order to close the investigation.
However, the sources said that the SHO has registered cases against the young men and women, and after completing the challan, the accused persons will be produced in the court on Monday.
