The ‘World Environment Day’ is being observed today globally to spread worldwide awareness on environmental issues.
The Day is celebrated every year on 5th June since 1974. Almost over 150 countries participate each year in the event to take action on significant environmental challenges the planet faces.
The theme for this year’s World Environment Day is ‘biodiversity’, a call for action to synergize global efforts to combat the species loss and degradation of the natural world.
There are a lot of things that we do not pay attention to or close our eyes to. There are a few interesting environmental awareness facts that you must read to realize the importance of environmental issues and how has a human effected it:
