ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has announced that his latest coronavirus test returned negative and was also discharged from the hospital.
Asad Qaiser took to Twitter and said that he had tested negative for the coronavirus. “Reports of my children will also be received by tomorrow,” he said while praying for their early recovery from the virus. He also expressed gratitude towards his well-wishers who prayed for his early recovery.

In an earlier tweet, Asad Qaiser said that he had been shifted from the hospital to the Speaker House and will start performing his day to day activities as soon as he recovers completely.

Earlier on April 30, Asad Qaiser announced that he had tested positive for coronavirus and went into isolation at his residence.
Asad Qaiser in this regard said that he quarantined himself inside his home. He had also appealed the nationals to adopt precautionary measures against coronavirus and pray for his health. He suspected that he contracted COVID-19 from an employee of the National Assembly infected with the virus.
So far, coronavirus has claimed lives of more than 700 people across Pakistan and has affected more than 31,000 people. Sindh and Punjab remain the worst affected provinces from the coronavirus.
