RAWALPINDI: Six Pakistan Army soldiers, including one officer, were martyred and one another injured as an improvised explosive device (IED) hit their reconnaissance vehicle in Buleda near the Pakistan-Iran border.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces were returning to their base after conducting a routine patrol in Buleda of the Kech district—14 kilometres from the border—to check possible routes used by terrorists in mountainous and extremely treacherous terrain of Makran.
“As the FC South Balochistan troops were moving back to their base after assigned patrolling duty, reconnaissance vehicle of FC troops was targeted with remote controlled IED,” the statement read. One officer and five soldiers embraced martyrdom while one other soldier was injured.

The martyrs were identified as Maj Nadeem Abbas Bhatti, resident of Hafizabad, Naik Jamshed, resident of Mianwali, Lance Naik Taimoor, resident of Taunsa Sharif, Lance Naik Khizer Hayat, resident of Attock, Sepoy Sajid, resident of Mardan, Sepoy Nadeem, resident of Taunsa Sharif.
On April 30, a Pakistan Army soldier and two civilians were martyred as Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the violation was reported in Kailer and Rakhchikri along the LoC. In Kailer Sector, Indian troops had targeted Pakistan Army posts with automatic and heavy weapons. Pakistan Army responded effectively resulting in heavy losses to Indian troops.
During the exchange of intense fire, Lance Naik Ali Baz, resident of District Karak, embraced martyrdom. In Rakchikri Sector, Indian Army troops had deliberately targeted civilian population in Kirni village during which 16-year-old girl and a 52-year-old woman were martyred while a 10-year-old boy and 55-year-old woman were injured in the firing.
On April 27, a woman was martyred while a minor girl sustained wounds in unprovoked firing by the Indian army in Jandrot and Khuiratta sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) targeting civilian population.
Due to indiscriminate fire of automatic weapons and rockets, a 36-year-old woman Yasmeen, resident of village Reed was martyred while 8-year-old minor girl, Adeeba Zaheer, resident of village Mohra Chattar sustained serious injuries. The child was evacuated by army troops and provided medical care.
