Last month, five policemen were infected with the coronavirus in Lahore. The infected policemen were posted in Naulakha Police Station. Moreover, seven policemen had diagnosed with COVID-19 in Karachi in April. They were immediately sent to isolation centres.
Since Section 144 has been imposed in the city to stop the unnecessary gathering of people, the police were assigned the main task of implementing the orders, however, cops are also getting affected by the virus. Yet, it is not clear whether the citizens with whom the police officials tested positive came into contact have been traced or not.
